Waterline
Privacy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
Waterline is built to run entirely on your phone. This policy is short because there isn’t much to say: the app doesn’t collect anything, doesn’t send anything anywhere, and doesn’t know who you are.
What we collect
Nothing. Waterline has no account system, no sign-in, and no user profile of any kind. Your level progress, your stars, and your settings are saved only on your own device, using standard iOS on-device storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere — Waterline has no network access and makes no server calls. There is no analytics library, no crash reporter, and no third-party SDK of any kind built into the app.
What we share
Nothing, because there’s nothing to share. We don’t sell, rent, trade, or transmit any data, because no data ever leaves your device in the first place.
Advertising
Waterline has no ads and no ad network integrated. It doesn’t track you, and it has nothing to track you for.
Children
Waterline is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, regardless of age. Because the app gathers no data at all, there is no information collected from children to be concerned about.
The App Store and TestFlight
Waterline is distributed through Apple’s App Store and, during beta, through Apple’s TestFlight program. Those platforms are operated by Apple and governed by Apple’s own privacy policies, which are separate from this one — we’d point you to them, but we don’t control what Apple collects to run its store. This policy covers Waterline the app, once it’s on your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — say, if a future feature required collecting something it doesn’t today — we’ll update this page and move the effective date above. We won’t quietly expand what we collect without saying so here first.
